Injunction Order — RBKC v Manuela Odette Silva, Central London County Court, Claim No. K00CL922 (25 May 2023)

Final injunction order made by Deputy District Judge Murphy in the County Court at Central London (Claim No. K00CL922) on 25 May 2023, in proceedings brought by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea against its secure tenant . Made on the court's reading of the witness statements of Leanne Maher (31 January 2023) and Paul Halloran (6 January 2023), with RBKC represented by Counsel and Silva not appearing despite notice, the order forbids the respondent, on pain of contempt of court, from causing nuisance or annoyance including noise nuisance, shouting, or excessive music/TV volume to anyone residing, visiting, or lawfully present at Campden Houses, and separately from causing harassment, alarm or distress to anyone at Campden Houses or at the neighbouring Fox Primary School. The order was to remain in force until 25 May 2024 and required the respondent to pay costs of £895; accompanying paperwork shows the sealed order being routed back to the council's legal team via barristers' chambers received by Kensington Town Hall's Legal Services on 30 May 2023.
