Silverman Follows Up In English With Austrian Lawyer About Journalism Without Borders Accounts

This document is a 27 April 2015 follow-up email from Craig Silverman to Austrian lawyer Mr Jakober about Journalism Without Borders, sent three days after BuzzFeed published its article about Central European News. It records Silverman following up on an earlier 23 April email, sent before publication, in which he said he was working with BuzzFeed and asked questions about the status, accounts, donations, registration and handling of money connected to Journalism Without Borders. It is relevant because Silverman was still pursuing the Journalism Without Borders angle around publication while writing in English to an Austrian, German-speaking lawyer about legal, charitable and accounting issues that would normally require precise language and local context. The document should be read alongside the earlier CEN/JWB material in which Silverman had already described Journalism Without Borders as possibly a scam despite not yet having complete answers on its status or accounts, because this follow-up shows that some of the basic information he wanted was still being sought at the point of publication or immediately afterwards.
